Airlines...Agreed, they definitely have competition. Airlines in general fill up a bunch of spots in worst-company lists, regardless of field.

Thanks for all the sympathy e-mails (EKC, E, MRB). This post is already pretty high in google results for "delta is the worst airline" so that's something. The Onionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16978226838564490246noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23154023.post-47577761741486990172012-02-08T12:19:06.685-05:002012-02-08T12:19:06.685-05:00Delta's got some stiff competition--Gulf Air c...Delta's got some stiff competition--Gulf Air cancelled our flight (because there weren't enough people on it), didn't notify us until 24 hours before, put us on a new flight 48 hours later (!), meaning that we both missed two days of work/school, and then scheduled us a new itinerary that took 48 hours to get back from Addis, including a 19-hour layover in Bahrain. When we called to at least try to get a better itinerary, they told us there were no other flights (not true--we could see them online), and then refused to put us on the available flight because it would be an upgrade to economy plus...because, of course, our 2-day delay wasn't worth a teeny tiny upgrade for a faster flight home. When I complained (loudly), they sent me to a customer service email, where I haven't gotten a response, even now, three weeks later.

So I sympathize, basically. And you absolutely should dispute those credit card charges.Petrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15454911336796743360noreply@blogger.com
